Be Part of the Lockdown Photo Challenge
All pictures shared during this time should be current, unless otherwise stated. No sharing of archive pictures.
Only pictures taken with a DSLR/mirrorless camera. No phone pictures
Unless the weekly assignment expressly allows elaborate post production and image manipulation, we encourage you to stick to the confines of subtle colour enhancements, contrast, sharpness and level adjustment commonly referred to as basic photo adjustments.
Pictures can have subtle watermarks or names at one corner. Avoid distracting logos and watermarks.
Pictures should be shared on Thursday, Friday and Saturday only on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with #PAKPhotoChallenge
You can photograph and submit a single picture or a series of pictures. Please ensure the content of your series photos warrants multiple entries; otherwise, less is more.
Portfolio Review: Mid-May 2020
Over and above the challenge, we encourage photographers to spruce up their portfolios as part of a portfolio review plan in the last 2 weeks of May. This could be a pdf (20-30 pages) or your official website. We understand that you have a lot of free time right now, so go ahead and update your current portfolio with pictures from your hard drives.
Week 1 : 19th April to 25th April
Topic: Self Portrait
Why not do something you haven’t done in a long time, take a self portrait. This first project will really be a moment for you to look inward and consider how you want us to see you. And guess what, we really do not want to limit your creativity so you can go all out. Use colour gels, lighting effects, costumes, backgrounds-surprise us!
